Ciaoš» Yesterday was a really quiet day. We just laid on the bed or grass all day due to the heat and JoĆ«lle chased some butterflies againš¦ At 6pm there was a church service in a town nearby and we were welcomed so nicely!
The pastor immediately came to say hi and as soon as he noticed we didnāt speak Italianš he quickly called his daughter over who could speak English so we could communicate. They even arranged for someone from the church to translate the entire service for us which was great! After the service, all the English-speaking people just gathered around to chat and get to know us, it was so nice, and such great people! š„° After chatting for a while, we were even invited to join them for dinner at a local pizza place!
The English-speaking group sat at the same side of the table as us so we could chat. Thank you Irene and Filippo for the amazing welcome. We hope to see you again in the Netherlands or here in Italy! At the end of this amazing night we were quite tired, we got āhomeā at the stopover at round midnight so we enjoyed our sleep(also the reason of this late post :D) Arrivedercišš¼
